Among the supports of PERINGENERATORS there is the partnership with EMERGENCY for the prestigious project of a new Hospital in Entebbe (UGANDA), specializing in Pediatric Surgery.

EMERGENCY is a famous independent and Italian association, founded in 1994 to provide free high quality medical and surgical treatment to the victims of war, landmines and poverty.

EMERGENCY’s work around the world is made possible thanks to the contribution of thousands of volunteers and supporters as PERINGENERATORS.

Among the supports of PERINGENERATORS we recall the donation of some power generators to the N.P.H San Damien pediatric hospital, on the island of Haiti (CARAIBI).

The island, hit in the summer of 2004 by hurricane Jeanne, in January 2010 by the second most destructive earthquake in human history and in October 2016 by Hurricane Matthew, lives in a state of humanitarian emergency.

Here is a beautiful thanking plaque for the sponsors who made it possible to build a new maternity hospital, built and directed by ERMEGENCY in Anabah, Afghanistan.

PERINGENERATORS is pleased and honored to have helped EMERGENCY to cure, from 1994 to today, over 7 million people around the world.

The project is the work of the famous archistar Renzo Piano, who designed the hospital in collaboration with Tamassociati, Milan Engineering (structural design) and Prisma engineering (plant design).

The hospital will be built in Entebbe, on a plot of land donated by the Government of Uganda, 35 km from the capital Kampala. It will be built with a local construction technique “earth pisè” that uses the raw land, ensuring a thermal inertia that will maintain constant the temperature and humidity in the building. With a surface area 9 thousand square meters, will have 3 operating rooms and 80 beds and will also be a training center for young doctors and nurses from Uganda and around.
