Military sector: PERINGENERATOR at a military base based in Doha (Qatar)
A new ambitious military project for PERINGENERATORS!
The generators of PERINGENERATORS have been chosen to provide power at Al Udeid Air Base, which is located about 50 kilometers southwest of Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Al Udeid Air Base is a military base, also known as Abu Nakhlah airport, hosts the foreign coalition personnel and related activities.
It has the most of the Middle East long airstrip (4,500 meters), and can accommodate up to 100 combat aircraft or transport.
the base is also the headquarters of the Qatar Emiri Air Force and, between 2001 and 2009, was used by the British Royal Air Force with fast-jet aircraft.
From 2014, Al Udeid Air Base has become the headquarter for the British involvement of air strikes against ISIS in Iraq.
